So I saw this photo, it’s from the model Rachel Dashae. I agree with what was written over her on the below photo.
But then I was thinking… hey? She’s mad right? That’s horrible someone did that, because she says she’s Native American too so she can pretty much do whatever the hell she wants right?
This above photo is promoting stereotypes, a feather? “war paint” … Okay?
Anyway, I’d like you all to take a note of her other photos that are so absolutely okay as long as she says “…I’m Native American, I’ll do whatever I want”
Lovely war bonnet right? Naked chicks in warbonnets? YES! but remember you guys it’s not cultural appropriation because she’s Apache and Choctaw… it doesn’t even matter that both of those tribes never used war bonnets… SHE’S NATIVE AMERICAN. Best excuse ever!
I like this one much better, it’s really showing her Native ancestry being naked with a warbonnet, you know?

So there you have it, it’s not cultural appropriation, racism, or just plain rude towards traditional Native Americans… IF you say you’re Native American.
I should grow my hair really long and dye it jet black too right? Totally makes me Native.
Using Native ancestry to reproduce horrible, racist stereotypes is worse to me than nearly any other form of racism against Natives.
