I don’t know that it’s even 1% honestly. I have no problem with people learning. I just want them to learn TRUE information, preferably taught by a Native or at least from information from a Native that can be traced back to a source.

Think about it this way: a lot of people who claim to have an interest in Native Americans pass around the Two Wolves story. Yeah, great - they have an interest, but they’re passing around fake info and then get defensive and hateful when approached about it. And that is just a small-scale example from Tumblr.
